Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist

Vacancy Introduction

We are looking for a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist for a Maternity Leave cover for 12 months, to deliver Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy with young people between the ages of 15 and 18 years. You will be working within the Children & Young People's multidisciplinary Therapy Team, as part of a busy and innovative CYPMHS. You will be working alongside a Consultant Child Psychotherapist to deliver weekly Group Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for children and young people with complex emotional and relational difficulties on a 12 month programme. You will need to be available on a Friday. 

You will need to be a member of the ACP (Association of Child Psychotherapists). This is fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their existing analytic and group skills in the context of a well established group therapy programme alongside specialist practitioners and Psychotherapists.
