Clinical Governance Co-ordinator

Vacancy Introduction

The Clinical Governance Team plays a central role in driving quality improvement and assuring safe, person centred care. We work across the three core elements of clinical governance; patient experience, patient safety, and clinical effectiveness, to support services in delivering care that is consistently high quality and aligned with our Trust values.

We provide assurance to the LCH Trust Board and collaborate with clinical teams to understand what works well, where improvements are needed, and how we can use feedback, evidence, and learning to strengthen care. By combining insights from safety events, patient experience, and clinical outcomes, we help foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to work across all areas of clinical governance, including patient experience, patient safety and clinical effectiveness, to support the delivery of high quality, safe and person centred care across the Trust. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal processes that enable strong governance and provide assurance to the organisation. This includes supporting the collection, analysis and presentation of data to inform reporting, helping to ensure that learning and evidence are used effectively to strengthen practice.

Working closely with clinical and non clinical teams, you will assist in monitoring quality activity, identifying themes and supporting improvements that reflect Trust priorities. You will use your organisational and communication skills to manage multiple workstreams, prepare clear reports and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, well organised and motivated to support high quality care through robust clinical governance.

This role is a secondment for 12 Months.
