Mobile Domestic Caretaker – Job Advert
Hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, split shift — 6:00–9:30am and 4:00–8:00pm
Location: Travel between various Health Centres across Leeds
Essential: Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Mobile Domestic Caretaker to provide high quality cleaning support across multiple NHS health centres in Leeds. You will cover staff absence and may be required to move between sites at short notice, so adaptability is key.
You will work across a range of locations, including:
Burmantofts, Bramley, Chapeltown, Halton, Holt Park, Hunslet, Kirkstall, Meanwood, Morley, Pudsey, Rothwell, Seacroft and Woodsley.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in line with NHS cleaning standards
• Monitor and replenish cleaning stock
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Work independently as a lone worker
• Carry out moving and handling tasks
• Use basic computer systems for recording and reporting tasks

• A confident driver with access to a reliable vehicle
• Someone who is flexible, organised and able to respond to changing needs• Ability to work across multiple sites
• Good communication and basic IT skills
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a vital role in delivering a high quality cleaning service across our Health Centres, ensuring all areas meet NHS Cleaning Standards. Your work will directly support safe, hygienic environments for patients, staff and visitors.
Your duties will include using approved cleaning methods, equipment and materials to maintain:
• Sanitary areas
• Furniture, fixtures and fittings (high and low level)
• Carpeted areas and hard flooring
• Upholstery
• Clinical and office spaces, ensuring consistently high standards
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.

Travel Requirements
You must be a car driver with access to a vehicle, as you will travel to various sites across the city for both the morning and evening shifts.
