Information Governance Administrator

The Information Governance (IG) Team, within the Finance & Resources directorate are responsible for providing support to the Data Protection Officer, internal IG arrangements and records management. These include the development and maintenance of policies and procedures, information sharing arrangements, the management of security incidents, IG training, Data Security & Protection Toolkit compliance, information security and support to the Caldicott Guardian and Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO)
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an effective information governance support service.
The post holder will support the Information Governance (IG) Manager & Deputy Data Protection Officer in working with multi-disciplinary staff and developing, implementing and maintaining robust IG programmes to help ensure the Trust compliance with its statutory and regulatory obligations including the Data Security & Protection (DSPT) Toolkit.
The post holder will assist the IG Manager & Deputy Data Protection
Officer in the day to day management and implementation of the Trust’s IG compliance programmes and the risk and projects management framework.
The post holder will provide general information governance support, advice and guidance to all staff at different levels.
The post holder will need to develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with relevant stakeholders within and outside the organisation.
