We are currently recruiting for an experienced B7 Neurological Nurse Specialist to undertake an exciting role within Leeds Community Neurological Rehabilitation Service (CNRS) based at St Mary’s Hospital.  We are looking for a team player who possesses excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.  The CNRS provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary rehabilitation service to all neurologically impaired adults in Leeds. You will join an enthusiastic team of nurses, medics, therapists and rehabilitation assistants who provide goal focused, time limited rehabilitation interventions in clinics, service user’s home environments and other settings.

The Neurological Nurse Specialist will lead on a holistic, collaborative and coordinated approach to individuals that require specialist neurological care.  The role will carry a clinical caseload within the CNRT, and provide professional leadership across the whole service providing clinical supervision and line management for band 6 and 5 neurological nurses. We are looking for somebody who will raise the neurology profile by liaising with key stakeholders, who will innovate to develop service and clinical pathways, and drive the changes needed to promote the best quality care for our service users.
