Leeds Children and Young People's Mental Health Service is a large and busy service which includes the Specialist Eating Disorder Service. This pathway is currently undergoing a period of significant growth and development, creating an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team. Based at the Reginald Centre, our MDT works in close partnership with acute hospitals, third-sector organisations and wider CYPMHS Pathways to deliver high-quality care across the Leeds area. The post holder will work closely with the ED team clinical leads and play a pivotal role in the effective delivery of a high quality service. You will require strong organisational and communication skills and be able to balance competing demands. The Operational manager will manage the team and resources effectively and work closely with other team managers within CYPMHS. Applicants should have a good level of knowledge regarding local and national drivers and how these can impact the delivery of care within a children and young peoples Mental health service.
We are seeking to recruit an Operational Manager, 1WTE Band 7. Part time applicants would be considered. While primarily based at the Reginald Centre, regular travel across the Leeds area will be essential to support service functioning.
Roles of Operational manager include
• Ensure day to day service delivery is safe and effective.
• Full oversight of rota to ensure safe staffing and structures in place to support needs of service
• Oversight of safety and quality services
• Manage complaints and incident investigations
• Oversight of workload planning and service performance using data to monitor effectiveness and to ensure the service is working within the Access and Waiting times Standards.
• Contribute to the local quality and performance meetings alongside other team managers.
• Lead on all recruitment
• To drive service development and delivery
• To ensure that all members of team receive Appraisals, supervisions, CPD requirements and complete all mandatory training
