There is an opportunity to join this team to lead on Patient Engagement
The Patient Engagement Manager, will support the delivery of the Organisations governance agenda and provide support to key workstreams and contribute to assurance reporting in relation to patient voice and feedback on behalf of the Trust.
They will be responsible for the Trust’s patient engagement agenda ensuring patients and their families/ carers can engage and feedback on our services. This could be working with our partners and third sector or supporting our engagement champions and delivering training.
Communication and collaborative working is a key skill as well as acting as an engagement representative on working groups Experience in using electronic systems to input, monitor and generate reports on Patient engagement.
Good time management skills are essential to ensure deadlines are adhered to. The post holder provide advice to a wide range of services across the organisation and externally with third sector and partner organisations.
They will be responsible for producing assurance reports for Committees and Board and for the strategic direction of patient engagement in the Trust. Knowledge of information governance procedures i.e. maintaining the confidentiality of information.
The postholder will be required to work flexibly, productively and co-operatively with colleagues and customers to deliver quality services. Must be able to develop engagement initiatives and link these with statutory and legislative requirements eg CQC and Patient safety framework.
