NHS Talking Therapies - Step 2 and Step 3 Clinical Lead

Vacancy Introduction

We are delighted to request applications from within the LMWS NHS TT partnership to a Step 2 and a Step 3 Clinical Lead.

The Step 2 opportunity is ideal for a qualified PWP / Senior PWP and the Step 3 opportunity is ideal for a qualified Step 3 therapist looking to take on a new leadership role, to develop their skills and contribute to the current and future direction of the service.

Both would be suited to someone with a strong clinical background and good understanding of the NHSTT stepped care model and modalities used within NHSTT, as well as an understanding of clinical governance and service improvement.

We strongly support applications from people from diverse backgrounds, recognising that there is a lack of diversity at leadership level in NHSTT/ LMWS.

In addition LMWS is committed to being anti-racist, to valuing lived experience, and to making reasonable adjustments for those with disabilities or neurodiversity including at interview stage. We operate a hybrid working model and interviews will be held virtually on 18th May 2026.

The post holder will work together with the Heads of Service and the Clinical Leads and Operational managers to contribute to quality clinical leadership within LMWS and prioritise work to be done in the clinical areas of quality and safety, building a positive culture and contributing to the health equity and service improvement agenda, attending relevant meetings as required.
