Assistant Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our dynamic and busy Finance Team.
The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a combination of home and office working based at White Rose Park, Leeds. This role will be supporting the Finance Manager to help ensure robust and accurate financial management and reporting are completed at all times within the Corporate Business Unit.
The Financial Management team provides finance support to budget holders across the organisation by providing robust financial reports and quality assured financial information, high quality financial advice, with financial management support to Business Units, costing advice, cost information and financial benchmarking information to managers.

The post holder will:
Suggest changes to develop finance systems and procedures to ensure an effective high quality financial monitoring and financial management service is provided.
Create forecasts to support the Trust’s budget holders in delivering the Trust’s strategic objectives including the delivery of CIPs.
Utilise specialist knowledge and expertise to advise and guide budget holders in discharging their accountabilities.
Produce timely and accurate monthly budget reports to specified timescales.
Ensure that the day-to-day operational functions of the Finance Department are efficient and effective.
 
Dealing with day-to-day budget holder queries in a professional and timely manner.
