Clinical Systems Trainer

Vacancy Introduction

The Trust’s Digital, Data and Technology Strategy is being introduced at a time when community health services play a key role in our health and care system, keeping people well at home and in community settings closer to their home.  These services are central to ambitions to boost out of hospital care and in helping people maintain their independence in their preferred place of residence.

The candidate will work closely with the Clinical Systems training team, to deliver face-to-face and remote clinical systems training and training support to LCH staff on the LCH Electronic Patient Record, and other digital systems supporting it, across the city of Leeds.

The strategy seeks to identify how digital products and services can make our services more accessible to communities and patients and increase our effectiveness and efficiency.  As well as implementing new and innovative technologies, we want to ensure we are achieving value from the existing products and services we already have access to within the Trust, as well as ensuring that we are offering a quality support service to the staff we are here to serve.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the deployment of digitally enabled solutions which support service transformation to maximise quality care delivery in more efficient ways.  It supports the drive for the organisation to embed data driven monitoring of programmes and utilisation of standardised reporting and processes.

The successful candidate will be a kind, caring, patient person who enjoys helping people to improve their skills and understanding of the clinical systems that are used at LCH.

Being able to plan your time well and plan your journeys driving around Leeds, to meet and support staff and services, is important.

The role involves working closely with the Clinical Systems training team to provide Clinical Systems training services to LCH staff.

Delivering training and training support to learners, either face-to-face in venues across Leeds, or remotely.

Working with clinical services to support their service-specific use of the LCH Electronic Patient Record System.

The role involves working with other teams and services within Informatics, e.g. the Business Intelligence, Clinical Systems, Information Technology (IT) and Information Governance (IG) teams, as well as aiming to influence and respond to clinical and operational plans from the business units operating within the Trust

Providing support for Office 365 eLearning.

Delivering training and support for Basic Digital Literacy skills.
